Chemicals are always thought of to be dangerous and bad for the environment. However, did you know that these characteristics does not apply to Polyurethane (PU). The mix of two chemical substance, polyol and diisocyanates in polyurethane creates a material that has many benefits for the environment. The American Chemistry Council says that polyurethane plays an important role in the advancements of sustainable technology, efficiency and also reducing the exploitation of natural resources.
Products that are made out of polyurethane supports environmental goals. For example, the strong and durable PU rigid foam can be used for thermal isolation that significantly raises energy efficiency. Apart from energy saving, polyurethane can also reduce the use of natural resources that can potentially be harmful for the environment. Polyurethane can also be used in other industries that you might not even think possible such as 3D printing, electronics and even footwear.

- Keep Your Perishable Goods at Top Shape Anywhere and Anytime
Iso and poly are known to emit low pollutants, and not only that, polyurethane are also recyclable. Polyurethane can undergo two different recycling methods. Mechanical recycling involves re-using polyurethane in its polymer form, and chemical recycling which involves breaking down polyurethane back to its constituent chemicals.
